Future of Flight

Whether you are interested in flying airplanes, fixing them, or keeping their passengers and cargo safe in the skies, Florida State College has you covered.

Jacksonville has been dubbed ‘America's Logistic Center.’  According to the Chamber of Commerce, aviation is a big part of the reason.  Over 15,000 people are involved in the business, and that number is expected to continue to climb in our region.

The River City is an excellent location for new businesses.  There are several airports, both commericial and private, in the Jacksonville area.  Plus, we have a strong workforce.

There are endless opportunities within the aviation industry; whether you are looking to go into management or the maintenance of aircrafts.  The sky really is the limit for students enrolled in Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Aviation program.
