FSCJ Students, Faculty and Staff to Participate in #GivingTuesday
WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) students, faculty and staff will celebrate #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2019. The College has partnered with six local nonprofit organizations and will deploy groups of students, faculty and staff throughout the city to serve their needs on this global day of giving.
The nonprofit partners include Boys & Girls Club Northeast Florida Camp Deep Pond, Celestial Farms, Farm Share, Feeding Northeast Florida, Jacksonville Humane Society and Tiger Academy.
Additionally, the College is accepting donations to benefit FSCJ’s H.O.P.E. Food Pantry, which serves FSCJ students who are experiencing food insecurity. Donation bins will be positioned on all campuses to collect nonperishable food and personal items for students in need. Financial contributions are also welcome. All monetary donations up to $10,000 will be matched by an anonymous donor
