FSCJ will be closed for spring break from Monday, March 17 – Sunday, March 23, 2025. We look forward to serving you when we return on March 24.
WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will welcome Josh Hanagarne, author of “The World’s Strongest Librarian: A Book Lover’s Adventures,” for the 2018 Author Series. This annual event engages students in a learning community around a published memoir on social issues that promote academic discourse in higher education and create permanent, positive impact on both the College and the community.
Through his book, Salt Lake City Librarian Josh Hanagarne illuminates the mysteries of Tourette Syndrome, a condition he was diagnosed with as a teenager, and connects the very different worlds of strongman training and modern libraries.
Mr. Hanagarne will visit FSCJ’s Kent and South Campuses on March 13, 2018 to speak on his memoir and increase awareness and understanding. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required and seating is on a first come, first served basis.
