Nearly 50 graduating students from Ribault and Lee high schools finish their Associate degree requirements from Florida State College at Jacksonville before they get handed their high school diplomas--10 from Ribault and 37 from Lee. The students are enrolled in the Early College High School programs through their high schools. Lee High School students attended FSCJ's Kent Campus and the Ribault students attended college classes at FSCJ's nearby North Campus. When they enter college this fall, or this summer for some, they enter as college juniors at ages 17 and 18. Media friends are invited to talk to the Ribault graduates at their celebratory dinner tonight at the North Campus Mallard Room 6-7:30 p.m.; students from the Lee High School program are also available to talk to reporters and about their experience, what they invested, why they did it, and what they get out of it.
