In total, 54 of FSCJ’s athletes, over half of the team rosters, were recognized with academic awards.

With a 3.6 or higher GPA for the year, 24 earned a place on the NJCAA All-Academic Team. Of those, seven hold a 4.0 GPA: Jordan Briones (baseball), Hannah Dugan (softball), Mia McKay (volleyball), Anthony Orrico (baseball), Dillon Richardson (baseball), Breanna Swanson (softball) and Dalton Terrell (baseball).

In addition, 41 FSCJ student athletes were named to the FCSAA All-Academic Team, with a 3.3 or higher GPA. Representing all seven of FSCJ’s athletic teams, 54 student athletes made their respective Academic All-Conference teams with a 3.0 GPA or higher.

FSCJ’s Male Student Athlete of the Year Dalton Terrell (baseball) also earned placement on FCSAA’s All-Academic Team and Academic All-Conference Team with his 4.0 GPA. Serving as the BlueWave softball team’s leading pitcher, Female Student Athlete of the Year Caitlyn Berry carried a 3.44 GPA and was among the students named to the Academic All-Conference Team as well as the All-Conference Second Team.
