FSCJ Foundation Announces the H. Wade Barnes, Jr., M.D. Heritage Society to Honor Planned Giving Donors

FSCJ and the FSCJ Foundation are proud to announce the establishment of the H. Wade Barnes, Jr., M.D. Heritage Society, named after the Jacksonville physician who specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology, delivered more than 9,000 babies during his career, and serves as an emeritus member of the board of directors of the FSCJ Foundation.

"Dr. Barnes' contributions to the advancement of the College and the FSCJ Foundation are many and have come in different forms over decades, including planned giving," said VP for Institutional Advancement and FSCJ Foundation Executive Director Scott Evans. "It is fitting and well-deserved to announce the establishment of this new society to recognize Dr. Barnes and all future planned giving donors forever."

The H. Wade Barnes, Jr., M.D. Heritage Society honors those who establish a legacy at the FSCJ Foundation through wills, estates and other planned giving. These legacy gifts offer financial stability, ensuring educational opportunities and benefits for countless students in the future. Learn more here.

There are many ways for individuals and families to make legacy gifts and become members of the H. Wade Barnes, Jr., M.D. Heritage Society, including:
