WorkSource and FSCJ sponsor Virtual Job Fair December 16-20, 2013

The Dec. 16-20 online job fair is the fourth and final one of 2013. Action News promoted the VJF throughout their newscasts on Nov. 29 to the benefit of jobseekers in the community.

"A new local job fair is set to kickoff in less than two weeks, and the entire thing is online. The First Coast Virtual job fair is being held entirely on the Internet, 24 hours a day. WorkSource is teaming up with FSCJ to pair local companies with prospective employees. It starts December 16th and runs through the 20th. You can find a link to that site on ActionNewsJax.com." During the three Virtual Job Fairs held in 2013, there were more than 103,000 visits to the site.  It attracted 4,662 jobseekers applying for 2,929 posted jobs. Employers had 11,205 resumes to review, with 98 of them coming from jobseekers outside of Florida. For complete information, read the FSCJ and WorkSource joint news release.
