FSCJ Women’s Basketball Team to Compete for Spot in FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) BlueWave Women’s Basketball Team will take on Broward College on Friday, March 3, 2017. The teams will compete for an at-large play in bid to the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Region 8 Women’s Basketball Tournament. The FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament is considered to be the strongest in the country. 

The BlueWave Women’s Basketball team currently ranks in the FCSAA/Region 8 poll at number 10. A win on Friday night will lock FSCJ into the FCSAA/Region 8 Tournament as the number eight seed. 

The team is now 16-14 and 8-7 in the Mid-Florida Conference.
