Jumpin’ Jax House of Food has opened its third Jacksonville restaurant in the historic, 104-year-old Lerner Building between Main and Laura streets downtown.
The popular, fast-casual restaurant at 20 W. Adams St. is in the former location of the Florida State College at Jacksonville’s culinary student-run cafe.
Monday marked the restaurant’s first full day of service, restaurant owner Howland “Howdy” Russell told the Times-Union.
“We’re doing breakfast and lunch. Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday,” Russell said. They did twice the breakfast service Tuesday that they did on Monday. They were expecting a good lunch crowd as well on Tuesday, he said.
