Student Spotlight: Manuela Roberts

“I came here reading on a second-grade level…” growing up Manuela Roberts was involved heavily in the street life, after dropping out of school and becoming hooked on drugs, she realized she needed to change. She’s overcome the obstacles in her way, attaining her GED and Associate degree in the process. Now, she’s a mentor to other students and is currently enrolled in the Human Services B.S. program, where she hopes to help others in the same situations she was in.
