Military and Veterans Service Center Continues to Grow

Rated five years in a row as a Top Military Friendly School by Military Friendly, Florida State College at Jacksonville understands the importance of meeting the unique needs and challenges for active military, veterans and their family members.

Rated five years in a row as a Top Military Friendly School by Military Friendly, Florida State College at Jacksonville understands the importance of meeting the unique needs and challenges for active military, veterans and their family members.

To ensure these individuals have access to educational resources, FSCJ established the Military and Veterans Service Center (MVSC) in 2013.  Its mission is to further academic success, leading to a degree, certification or licensure and employment in a high-demand, high-wage career field. The MVSC serves as a “one-stop shop” where veteran affair specialists and College support staff can provide assistance and resource referral services, career coaching and help with degree planning. More than 2,200 students have been serviced by MVSC since its opening.

FSCJ is proud of the assistance and service that MVSC has been able to offer our military men and women and their families. We hope to continue growing and expanding our reach and influence to those military and veteran individuals interested in attending FSCJ.
