The 10th Annual Literacy Fair at FSCJ's North Campus is Saturday, Sept. 15. Free and open to the public, the community is invited to come for free books for readers of all ages, free lunch and valuable lessons about the importance of literacy.

North Campus President Barbara Darby visited the set of Action News Sept. 10 to talk about the 10th Annual Literacy Fair. The fair has become a mainstay on the Northside, providing not only free books, lunch, games and entertainment to residents, but also educating the community about the importance and value of literacy in getting ahead in life. Donations provide books for readers of all ages, the idea being to instill the habit of reading as a family activity--a good habit that results in improved opportunities socially, educationally and economically.
