In the Times-Union: Looking for help on college financial aid forms? It's available Sunday (Feb 12)

Students who attended College Goal Sunday (CGS) on Feb. 12, 2012 got free, professional help in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a necessary part of the financial aid process. They also had the chance to win thousands of dollars in scholarships, contributed by University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, Edward Waters College and Florida State College at Jacksonville. From Nassau County alone, eight students who attended won scholarships of at least $1,000, and one of those was a $5,000 scholarship from Jacksonville University. The College Goal Campaign continues at Sandalwood High School on Feb. 14 for tax preparation help and on Feb. 23 for help completing the FAFSA. Ribault High School offers tax preparation help Feb. 16 and FAFSA assistance on Feb. 21.  High school students: see your guidance counselors. College students who need assistance should contact their campus Enrollment Services Offices.
