Fire Science Online used data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the National Center for Education Statistics to compile the top 90 fire science programs that help prepare graduates for careers in firefighting while providing solid returns on tuition and other expenses, Sunshine State News reported.
“While the education itself is the most important part of obtaining a degree in fire science, the increase in pay or career prospects is a close second,” Fire Science Online said. “Students want to enroll in programs that will make them high-caliber firemen and women, but they also want schools that lead to careers that pay well. In order to accommodate those desires, we’ve assembled this list.”
