Herbert "Mac" McCormack: Unstoppable

Herbert "Mac" McCormack, a career employee of the United States Postal Service, was enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at UNF when a near-fatal accident left him disabled and unable to complete the program. He had completed his A.A. degree in 1973 at what was then Florida Junior College. Mac came back to FSCJ to see what, if anything, they could offer him. Working closely with Mack, personnel from the ADA office, Financial Aid, the LLC and Career Education office at Kent Campus successfully enrolled him in the B.A.S. Supervision and Management program. With only one foreign language course left to complete his degree, Mack maintains a 3.54 GPA. He plans to come back in summer 2014 to finish his degree.
