Great Balls of Fire! MOSH, FSCJ in Perfect Partnership to Teach about Comets, Asteroids & Meteors

WJCT First Coast Connect Host Melissa Ross invited Dr. Mike Reynolds and Tom Webber to visit with her radio audience and talk about a new exhibit at MOSH and the educational partnership the two have forged to make this national exhibit even more accessible to the public. Aired Sept. 11, 2013.

Museum of Science & History Planetarium Director Tom Webber and Florida State College at Jacksonville Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences Mike Reynolds partnered in bringing Great Balls of Fire! the national exhibit of comets, meteors and asteroids, to MOSH. Dr. Reynolds' Astronomy seminar students will serve as docents during the exhibit's run, giving them an opportunity to share what they have learned. Reynolds served as an advisor for the national touring exhibit, developed by the Space Science Institute and funded by the National Science Foundation and NASA.
