Governor Scott Announces Reappointment to FSCJ Board of Trustees

Governor Rick Scott announced the reappointment of Karen Bowling to the Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Board of Trustees. Karen Bowling will serve a new term that began February 24, 2015 and runs through May 31, 2018.

Ms. Bowling is the director of public affairs for Foley & Lardner LLP. She has served on the Board since August 2011.

“It is an honor and a great opportunity to return to the Board of Trustees of the College,” said Karen Bowling, member, FSCJ Board of Trustees. “It's an exciting time as we enter our 50th year in the community to oversee the College's strategic initiatives. The college is more relevant now than it ever has been and I look forward to working with President Bioteau in the future.”

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
