GIVING KIDS SMILES
Scores of children are smiling much wider today thanks to the selfless efforts of the Sulzbacher Center, Jacksonville Dental Society and many others.
A total of 52 children received free dental treatment during the recent Give Kids A Smile program, which saw 53 volunteers provide more than $36,000 worth of medical services.
The services ranged from preventive care to surgery over a nine-hour period at Sulzbacher’s dental clinic.
Other organizations taking part in the program were Northeast District Dental Society, Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Hygiene School, the University of North Florida’s Pre Dental Club, UNF’s Nutrition program and dental suppliers BENCO, KERR and Dentsply.
