FSCJ Students Named to 2021 All-Florida Academic Team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) students were named to the Florida College System’s (FCS) 2021 All-Florida Academic Team in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership and community service efforts.

FSCJ Students Jessica Beccaccio, Carrington Boyer and Gabel Rose Abigale Strickland were among the 137 students across the state to be selected for the team. All honorees will be recognized at a virtual awards ceremony which will be webcasted on April 23, 2021.

Honorees were nominated by their respective colleges for the All-Florida Academic Team competition, and will be eligible for selection for the All-USA Academic Team, which is sponsored by the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

“We congratulate all of the students who were selected to join this prestigious group of scholars, especially Jessica, Carrington and Gabel,” said College President John Avendano, Ph.D. “This honor is a wonderful representation of their dedication to their academic and professional pursuits, FSCJ and this community we call home.”
