FSCJ to Host Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics and Educational Event
WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) is hosting free vaccination clinics and an educational event. The community is invited to receive free COVID-19 vaccinations and to learn more about how the vaccine can protect them, their families and those around them.
In honor of Healthcare Champion Dr. Leon Haley and in partnership with UF Health Jacksonville, FSCJ is hosting a free educational event and vaccination clinic at South Campus on Thursday, September 9. Local health experts from UF Health Jacksonville will hold three information sessions to share details on how the vaccine is made and how it interacts with the immune system. Free vaccines will be available onsite through a partnership with Agape. There will also be a food giveaway for attendees from Feeding Northeast Florida beginning at 11 a.m.
