WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will celebrate the thousands of students who have successfully completed their program of study during the 55th annual Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 12. After holding virtual events in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, FSCJ President John Avendano, Ph.D. and the FSCJ District Board of Trustees will proudly present diplomas to students who have earned their bachelor’s and/or associate degree.
More than 4,000 degrees will be awarded to FSCJ graduates and candidates for the 2021-22 academic year, with some students earning more than one. Of these, 2,070 are associate in arts degrees, 1,026 are associate in science degrees and 925 are bachelor’s degrees.
The faculty and student procession will begin promptly at 3:45 p.m. with the ceremony immediately following at 4 p.m.
