FSCJ to Conduct Practical Exercise Regarding Active Shooter Survival Strategies

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host a training exercise to simulate an unplanned incident on campus. The exercise will take place on March 12, 2018, beginning at 9 a.m. at FSCJ Downtown Campus – Advanced Technology Center (ATC) located at 401 W. State Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.

This training event allows FSCJ to prepare for a host of unplanned incidents in addition to the routine training that takes place surrounding natural disasters.

This information is available to remind our FSCJ community and the public that this is a training exercise and that there will be additional public safety personnel at FSCJ Downtown Campus - ATC on the morning of March 12. FSCJ Downtown Campus will still be accessible for students to attend class, however the public is asked to avoid the campus during the exercise.
