About the play:

“Love/Sick” is a new comedy by the playwright of the comedy “Almost, Maine,” which has become one of the most produced plays in the United States over the last 10 years.  “Love/Sick” follows the same structure as “Almost, Maine” with all of the short plays taking place at the same time on a Friday evening.  “Love/Sick” is not set in Maine, but in an “alternate suburban reality” somewhere in the U.S.  This bittersweet comedy explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love, and tells the stories of characters who are imperfect lovers and dreamers.

“ . . .Whimsical romantic comedy.  In the nine vignettes that make up [the] play, couples meet [or] break apart or learn to love each other more . . .the jokes here are easygoing and snark free.”
