JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Professor Dr. Tim Gilmore will be reading from and signing copies of his recently released book titled, “Devil in the Baptist Church: Bob Gray’s Unholy Trinity.”
The event will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the University of North Florida Art Gallery, Founders Hall, Building Two, Room 1001.
A professor of English, Dr. Gilmore has been an FSCJ faculty member for nine years. He received his associate in arts from Florida Community College at Jacksonville, his bachelor’s and master’s from the University of North Florida and his doctorate from the University of Florida.
His 14th published book highlights the Reverend Robert Gray’s life as builder of Jacksonville’s “first megachurch,” the allegations made against him during his time as its leader and the power dynamics that allowed it to continue.
