FSCJ offering insurance coverage to employees' domestic partners starting in January

Employees at Florida State College Jacksonville now have the option to enroll their domestic partners in medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans, according to the school.
The enrollment period ends Friday and the benefits will begin Jan. 1.
Domestic partners include same or opposite-sex couples who are married or unmarried, according to the school.
Children of a partner can be added as long as the parent is enrolled.
Children will be dropped from the plan if the parent terminates coverage for any reason, according to the school.
