FSCJ Joins Colleges and Universities at 2016 Jacksonville National College Fair

WHAT:         

Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) encourages high school students and their parents to attend the Jacksonville National College Fair to meet more than 100 college and university representatives from across the nation and attend workshops to help in preparing for college.    

FSCJ’s student services team will lead five comprehensive break-out sessions:

“Countdown to College: A Year-by-Year Plan”: 9 a.m. | Rooms 204/205

  • Led by Fletcher Basch, FSCJ Admissions Advisor

    “NCAA Eligibility for the High School Athlete”: 10 a.m. | Rooms 204/205

  • Led by Aaron Holland FSCJ Admissions Advisor

    “Oh the Places You’ll Go: Selecting the Right College”: 10 a.m. | Room 210

  • Led by Terry Hollingshead, FSCJ Associate Director of Student Onboarding

    “Hot Jobs in the 21st Century”: Noon | Rooms 204/205

  • Led by Terry Hollingshead, FSCJ Associate Director of Student Onboarding

    “FAFSA Completion Lab”: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. | Board Room B

  • Led by FSCJ Student Services and DCPS Counselors

FSCJ representatives will also be onsite to answer questions on program of study options, admissions, enrollment, tuition, student life and more.

Students can register in advance online at www.gotomyncf.com.  This makes navigating the fair and collecting information from multiple colleges and universities much easier for students. By pre-registering students can print a bar coded confirmation to be used on-site at the fair as an electronic ID. Pre-registration is not required to attend the fair.
