WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) and the U. S. Department of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) are hosting a Diversity Symposium for diverse communities.
The symposium will provide information about the statistics and cases of health related illnesses in diverse communities. Illnesses such as stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and lifestyle will be discussed by the speakers. Attendees will be able to participate in a question and answer session at the end of the presentations.
The Symposium will feature three speakers from the healthcare field including:
Tony Jenkins: Blue Cross Blue Shield, market president, Central Florida
Samantha Orr RN, SCRN: Memorial Hospital, stroke coordinator
Veronica Scott-Fulton DNP, MPH, BSN, NEA-BC: Wolfson Hospital, vice president, operations & patient care services
