FSCJ Honors Veterans at First President’s Forum Event

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) is hosting its first President’s Forum to honor the many veterans in our community. FSCJ welcomes Retired Admiral James Stavridis to share his thoughts on “The Secret to Being and Effective Leader.”

Admiral Stavridis ultimately achieved the rank of four-star admiral, having served in several high-profile posts, including commander of U.S. Southern Command as well as serving as the 16th Supreme Allied Commander at NATO. He has published ten books on leadership, the oceans, maritime affairs and Latin America, as well as hundreds of articles in leading journals.

In partnership with the FSCJ Foundation, the President’s Forum will become a regular event which will welcome renowned speakers from across the country to discuss a variety of topics. Invitees will include donors, partners and supporters of the College.
