FSCJ will be closed for spring break from Monday, March 17 – Sunday, March 23, 2025. We look forward to serving you when we return on March 24.
I was truly humbled to see the faculty, staff and student volunteers in attendance at our Downtown Campus tree planting ceremony and have heard nothing but excellent reports about the participation and support from all of you at each of our campuses and centers.
It is not every day that we are afforded such a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those in need in our community. I commend you all for giving your time, support and energy to make Giving Tuesday a successful celebration. When I ask myself “what is right at FSCJ,” the answer is unequivocally, YOU.
It is with great appreciation and excitement that I can tell you all how successful our efforts were in giving back to our community through our donation collections and to the College itself through our environmental project.
Please see the results below from our donation collection sites.
30 new twin sheet sets (benefiting Lutheran Social Services)
41 new, unwrapped toys for all ages (benefiting Toys for Tots)
530 new, unwrapped toys for all ages (benefiting Wolfson Children’s Hospital)
642 pounds of nonperishable food items and donations = 1,039 meals (benefiting Feeding Northeast Florida)
128 new baby blankets (benefiting Community Connections)
Thank you for being true examples of leaders to our students and being engaged in this institution.
Most sincerely,
