FSCJ Awards Scholarships to Seven Duval and Nassau County High School Seniors

FSCJ awarded scholarships to four Duval County high school seniors and three Nassau County high school seniors who attended the recent College Goal Sunday events at the Advanced Technology Center and Betty P. Cook Nassau Center on February 22, 2015.

High school seniors and their families who attended College Goal Sunday received assistance in applying for Pell Grants by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). During the event, high school seniors entered a drawing for their chance to win scholarship money for college. FSCJ awarded seven $1,000 scholarships while other scholarships were awarded by College Goal Sunday, Edward Waters College and University of North Florida.

The seven students who accepted the scholarships are as follows:
