FSCJ Artist Series 2014-15 Season Kicks off with Annie

The new U.S. National Tour of Annie, the world’s best-loved Broadway musical, opens the FSCJ Artist Series season from October 21-26 at the Times-Union Center!

The new U.S. National Tour of Annie, the world’s best-loved Broadway musical, opens the FSCJ Artist Series season from October 21-26 at the Times-Union Center! There is a special discount for FSCJ faculty, staff and students for the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening performances. See ticket information below.

Discount Ticket Prices: $38 (price level 2) or $33 (price level 3)
Regular Ticket Prices: $67.50 (price level 2) or $57.50 (price level 3)

Annie Performance Schedule:
Tuesday, October 21 - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 22 - 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 23 - 7:30 p.m.
Friday, October 24 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 25 – 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 26 - 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Opening Night is Chase Family Night on Broadway, with special lobby activities starting at 6:30 p.m., including children’s games, face painting, photo ops, coloring stations, crafts and more. There will also be a Food Drive in the lobby for all eight Annie performances to benefit Farm Share of Northeast Florida. 

Annie remains one of the biggest Broadway musical hits ever. It ran for 2,377 performances after it first opened, has been performed in 28 languages and has been running somewhere around the world for 37 years. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin, this production of Annie is a brand new incarnation of the iconic original. The beloved score includes “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street” and the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow.”

Other shows coming to the Times-Union Center presented by the FSCJ Artist Series include Susan Boyle in Concert (November 6), Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody (November 6-8 for 4 performances), and Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis (November 15).
