Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will honor 126 recent nursing program graduates at the upcoming Pinning Ceremony on Monday, August 17, 2015.
Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will honor 126 recent nursing program graduates at the upcoming Pinning Ceremony on Monday, August 17, 2015.
| WHAT: |
Ninety-six of the graduates will receive their Associate in Science in Nursing and 30 graduates will receive their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. A pinning ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The new nurses are presented with nursing pins by the faculty of the FSCJ nursing school. Often the nurses recite the Nightingale Pledge. |
