Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) Student Government Association is hosting the Republican Primary Debate for Florida’s 4th Congressional District.

Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) Student Government Association is hosting the Republican Primary Debate for Florida’s 4th Congressional District.

WHAT:

While all registered candidates have been invited to participate, Edward “Ed” Malin, St. Johns County Commissioner Bill McClure, Deborah Katz Pueschel and State Representative Lake Ray have confirmed their attendance and will discuss issues facing the district, which includes parts of Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties. The winner of the August 30 primary hopes to replace Ander Crenshaw in the general election, who will not be seeking re-election.

Topics to be discussed include education, financial, domestic and foreign affairs. Professor of History and Political Science Cynthia Gardner Counsil and Professor of History Dr. Andrew Holt will moderate the debate.

This event is free and open to the public.
