Florida State College at Jacksonville Remembers 9/11

Florida State College at Jacksonville hosts a special convocation ceremony to remember the victims and heroes of 9/11 and to honor those who continue to protect and serve our country.
The event featured honored speakers Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll, Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown, Sheriff John Rutherford, Fire Chief Charles Moreland and Admiral Jack Scorby, Commander of Navy Region Southeast. They all shared their memories of 9/11 and praised Florida State College at Jacksonville's faculty and staff for providing the education and training our public safety leaders and first responders need to do their increasingly challenging jobs.
