Florida State College at Jacksonville Board gives go ahead for aircraft fire simulator

The Florida State College at Jacksonville Fire School of the South may become the only one in the region to offer aircraft fire simulator training.
Contingent upon the awarding of a Federal Aviation Administration grant, Florida State College at Jacksonville could be the site of an aircraft fire simulator that would be unique in the Southeast region. The "burn plane" would replicate a Boeing 737, at 80 feet long and 30 feet in diameter.
