Florida State College at Jacksonville Announces New WAVE of Excitement

Florida State College at Jacksonville announces the retirement of the STARS and introduction of new Athletics ID/nickname, the BLUE WAVE. The announcement coincided with the start of the 2012 Annual Golf Classic, a fundraiser for student athlete scholarships.
While the newly designated “Blue Wave” will consign the “STARS” to the past, fans and players present and future, can be assured the tradition of reaching for athletic, scholastic and personal excellence will continue to be a mainstay of FSCJ’s Athletics program.
