JaxPort CEO Brian Taylor talked with more than 40 students in Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Transportation and Logistics program, discussing port operations, growth projects and keys to success in the industry. “The growth rate of the transportation and logistics industry is 23 percent every 10 years, creating tremendous opportunity for aspiring professionals who are skilled in supply chain management,” Taylor told the students. FSCJ offers a bachelor’s degree in logistics and an associate degree in supply chain management, as well other technical and work certificates in the field.
