Florida State College at Jacksonville Political Science Professor Marcella Washington sat down with WJXT Morning Show anchor Bruce Hamilton to talk about Romney's win. The immediate switch in rhetoric from that of one of the pack fighting for the lead to a clear front-runner working to find the best way to unseat the Democratic incumbent was not lost on Washington (or anyone in the media either). Can Romney succeed at making himself a more likeable, one-of-the-guys kind of candidate that seems to come very naturally to Obama? How will he go about choosing a running mate--is he going to be predictably methodical or will he surprise us? And what are the challenges Obama faces, in addition to an economy that's struggling to make a comeback but just isn't quite there, that might make this campaign an uphill climb for the incumbent?
