FSCJ to Host Business Speaker Series Event, “Game Changers: Disruptors in Various Industries”

WHAT:  Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host the April Business Speaker Series event, “Game Changers: Disruptors in Various Industries,” presented by First Florida Credit Union. The event will feature a panel discussion on this era of accelerated change across all industries and how organizations must strategically prepare for the future.

The discussion will be moderated by Host and Producer of “First Coast Connect” Melissa Ross. Panelists include Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery Ryan J. Uitti, M.D., Beaver Street Fisheries Director of Operations Lloyd Carter, III, and Cox Media Group, WJAX & WFOX-Action News Jax General Manager Bob Longo.

The Business Speaker Series was made possible by a $250,000 commitment from First Florida Credit Union to support initiatives that will help local students and community members become future business leaders. The funding helped launch the series and will bolster the College’s Financial Skills Academy over the span of five years.
