FSCJ to Welcome Donovin Darius for Business Speaker Series, “Pursing Your Dreams”

Nov 1, 2022, 10:57 AM

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host the sixth event in its Business Speaker Series, presented by First Florida Credit Union. “Pursuing Your Dreams” will feature Donovin Darius, founder and president of the Donovin Darius Foundation and retired safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Mr. Darius is an international speaker, coach, motivator and has empowered more than 250 audiences to include professional athletes, youth of all ages and corporations. His foundation partners with various organizations to host life camps and mentorship opportunities for youth, teenagers and parents in the areas of personal leadership life skills. Through his experiences, Donovin shares a message of tackling and overcoming challenges and pursuing goals with intent and passion. In his book, “Next Level Motivation-Principles for Living Life to the Fullest,” he guides readers through his personal journey of introspection and mindset development. In addition to strengthening and empowering our community’s youth, he has worked as a consultant and performance coach for executives and team leaders with businesses and corporations.

He is also founder and head coach of Donovin Darius Next Level Training and Performance, a Sports Emmy Award-winning athletic organization that focuses on the developing athletes on and off the field.

The Business Speaker Series was made possible by a $250,000 commitment from First Florida Credit Union to support initiatives that will help local students and community members become future business leaders. The funding helped launch the series and will bolster the College’s Financial Skills Academy over the span of five years.

All ages are welcome to attend. Seating is limited and online registration is required. Visit fscj.edu/business-speakers to register and learn more.

The first 150 attendees to arrive at the event will receive a free autographed copy of Donovin’s book, “Next Level Motivation.”
