FSCJ Presidential Search Committee Selects Finalists

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Search Committee met with eight semifinalists seeking the position of President of Florida State College at Jacksonville during interviews on March 18-19, 2019. As a result of these interviews, the committee has recommended three finalists to the FSCJ Board of Trustees.

The finalists (in alphabetical order) are as follows:

• Dr. John Avendano
  Ph.D., president and CEO, Kankakee Community College, Kankakee, Illinois
• Dr. Natalie Harder
  Ph.D., chancellor South Louisiana Community College, Lafayette, Louisiana
• Dr. David Sam
  Ph.D., president and professor Elgin Community College, Elgin, Illinois

Finalists will take part in on-campus interviews in early April. There will be an opportunity to interact with each of the candidates during these interviews.
