JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) Student Nadia Esha was selected by her peers to serve as the vice president of the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA) Executive Board. This past fall, Nadia served as the FCSSGA Region 1 coordinator.
The FCSSGA Executive Board serves as the central executive agency of FCSSGA, which represents all students who are enrolled in any of the Florida College System’s 28 colleges, and is responsible for decision-making and serving as a liaison for the four regions within the association.
Nadia will attend the FCSSGA Advocacy Conference on February 6 and 7 in Tallahassee along with Associate Director of Student Engagement Kerry Roth, who was also recently named the FCSSGA state advisor-elect.
“We are very proud of Ms. Esha and are eager to see how the contributions she’s made to our institution will be used to positively influence the entire Florida College System,” said Interim College President Kevin Hyde. “What a privilege it is for all of the exemplary student officers to have the opportunity to serve their fellow college students throughout our state in this way.”
