FSCJ will be closed for spring break from Monday, March 17 – Sunday, March 23, 2025. We look forward to serving you when we return on March 24.
WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host the eighth event in its Business Speaker Series, presented by First Florida Credit Union. “The Changing Culinary Landscape of Northeast Florida” will feature a luncheon and panel discussion on the rapidly expanding culinary scene of our community and its impact on employment, industry trends and entrepreneurship.
The discussion will be moderated by the American Culinary Federation Director of Marketing and Communications Renee Brust. Panelists will include Blue Bamboo Chef and Owner Dennis Chan, Martin Coffee Company President Ben Johnson, Soul Food Bistro and Celestia's Coastal Cuisine Chef and Owner Celestia Mobley, Edible Northeast Florida Magazine Editor Lauren Titus, and Jacksonville Restaurant Reviews Blogger Jerry Watterson.
The Business Speaker Series was made possible by a $250,000 commitment from First Florida Credit Union to support initiatives that will help local students and community members become future business leaders. The funding helped launch the series and will bolster the College’s Financial Skills Academy over the span of five years.
Seating is limited. Online registration is required. Visit fscj.edu/business-speakers to register and learn more.
