FSCJ welcomes new Associate Vice President (AVP) for Institutional Advancement Clay Pruitt. He will work with the FSCJ Foundation, cultivating relationships throughout the community to enhance and support academic opportunities for FSCJ students.
Clay comes to the College from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where he served as senior development officer for the College of Health Sciences. In that role, he worked to secure funds for the pharmacy, nursing, public health and health profession schools. During his time at Samford, he also served as director of philanthropy and engagement for the full university. Prior to his positions in higher education philanthropy, Clay worked in a variety of development roles with the Boy Scouts of America.
"We are excited to have Clay join our growing team at the Foundation," said FSCJ Vice President for Institutional Advancement Scott Evans. "He brings years of fundraising and managerial experience that we welcome at this exciting time in the life of the College. Clay will make new friends fast among our donors and in the community."
Clay earned a Bachelor of Arts, History and Political Science from the University of Alabama and his Master of Business Administration from Samford University.
