December 2024 Recruitment Update

Dec 11, 2024, 15:52 PM

As we draw 2024 to a close, the Student Recruitment office enhanced its cadre of talented enrollment development professionals for 2025 by adding a new Campus Tour Coordinator. Just a week ago, amid the holiday season, Maiah Leon assumed the reins of guiding the office’s efforts to provide prospective students with meaningful on-campus experiences.

Maiah is well acquainted with the College as a learner and employee, having studied and worked here. She earned her Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree at FSCJ and will complete her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration this spring. Maiah most recently served as a financial aid officer at Keiser University and previously worked as a financial aid advisor and Contact Center representative.

In her new role, Maiah coordinates campus tour experiences for individual tour offerings. In addition, she collaborates with her student recruiter colleagues to ensure prospective students from area schools and community partner programs have an outstanding experience on campus. Looking ahead, Maiah will play an active role in developing a more robust virtual tour experience.

Outside of her work coordinating campus visits, Maiah enjoys expressing herself through drawing. When you see her on campus, please welcome her to her new role. She may seek your support in ensuring visitors leave a tour feeling FSCJ is the right fit for their educational plans.
