CJC Cadet Academy Recruiting Law Enforcement Training Applicants for Fall Term

Continued demand for public safety will lead to new openings for workers in local and state departments.

FSCJ’s Northeast Florida Criminal Justice Center (CJC) is answering that call with the Cadet program. The program is now accepting applications for the upcoming Fall Term.

Recognized as one of the best facilities for law enforcement and security training, the CJC at FSCJ’s North Campus is equipped with optimal classroom and tactical training environments, fully preparing students for a future in law enforcement.

The Cadet program is geared toward recent high school graduates with an interest in law enforcement. These students can simultaneously earn an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice Technology and complete the Florida Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Training program in approximately two years.

Through rigorous academic coursework, law enforcement training and ongoing mentoring, program graduates will be distinctly equipped for employment as law enforcement officers in the state of Florida.

Upon completing the training program, students are required to pass the state certification exam, upon which they will receive 18 credit hours needed to complete the A.S. degree.
