On #GivingTuesday, November 27, the FSCJ family came together to give back to our community. A total of 107 student, faculty and staff volunteers contributed 246 hours to area non-profit organizations, collected 5,217 pounds of food for .

The local nonprofits included:

• Beaches Habitat for Humanity
• Celestial Farms
• Farm Share
• Feeding Northeast Florida
• Ronald McDonald House
• Tiger Academy

In addition to the food donations and volunteer opportunities, monetary donations were accepted for the food pantry. In total, $5,277 was raised to maintain the supply for our students who face food insecurity.
