Sole Source & Single Source Procurements
A Sole Source purchase occurs when only one supplier can provide the commodity, technology and/or perform the services required; therefore, it is not possible to obtain competition. Respectively, a Single Source purchase occurs when only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services can fulfil FSCJ requirements. For FSCJ Staff needing to make a purchase with a Sole/Single Source vendor, please click on the document link below for instructions.
Additionally, Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) posts current Sole Source and Single Source contract opportunities $65,000 or greater on the FSCJ website for 72 hours. During this period the public will be invited to submit comments and/or suggestions related to the Sole/Single Source contract opportunities.
Public comments and/or suggestions will only be accepted during the public posting period and will be provided to FSCJ leadership for consideration.
