Health Education Systems, Inc. Admissions Test (HESI-A2)
The HESI A2 is a computerized exam used to evaluate prospective students wishing to enter some of FSCJ’s health career programs, such as: Dental Hygiene, Funeral Services, Licensed Practical Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Registered Nursing, and Registered Nursing Bridge. It assesses the academic skills students need to succeed in these programs and consists of 9 sections: Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Grammar, Math, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Learning Styles, and Personality Style.
All 9 HESI A2 sections must be completed within the 4-hour time limit for scores to be accepted.

Students are required to pay a $60 sitting fee to FSCJ. Assessment Staff will provide you with instructions on how to complete those two payments when you arrive for your appointment. Evolve payment fee is subject to change.
The HESI A2 is available to all students to take, unless they have already taken the HESI A2 taken it once within the past 90 days or 3 times within the past 365 days .
