Giving high school students an opportunity to take college-level courses and exams while still in high school.

The Advanced Placement Program (AP) of the College Board gives high school students an opportunity to take college-level courses and exams while still in high school. Students who participate get a chance to try college-level work and to gain valuable skills and study habits for college. To find out more about participating in the Advanced Placement Program while you are enrolled in high school, contact your high school guidance counselor. The College Board has a website which provides information to students about the program. For more information about test preparation software, visit the AP Preparing website.
